A little bit about myself
A bit about little ol' me.
I grew up in the small town of Le Grand, placed in central Iowa in the heart of the US. The visual arts have been such an important part of me for as long as I can remember. It was this love and drive that led me to a career as a high school art teacher. Upon graduating from the University of Northern Iowa (Go Panthers!), life found me down in Yuma Arizona for the next seven years as ceramics teacher. In 2012 I decided that I missed family and the four seasons too much, so I migrated back to Iowa in essentially my home town of Marshalltown. My time is now spent with my wife, Beth, and five kids, Aidan, Finley, Declan, Isla, and Brenna as well as one of three full-time art teachers at Marshalltown High School (Go Bobcats!). I hope that you find a piece or some pieces that speak to you and that life fills you with great adventures. |
